Requests and incentives are ubiquitous and apply to us all. From the most followed influencers and celebrities, athletes and musicians, to your friends and family, virtually anyone might be motivated to make a request, support a request, or fulfill a request.

As a marketplace for bounties, Bount is built around 2 types of users: buyers (what we call backers) and sellers (what we call fulfillers). On Bount, a user can be both a backer and fulfiller.

Backers

A backer is any user that supports a request by pledging to fund the bounty reward should that request be fulfilled. This includes the original author of a request and any user that adds their pledge afterward.

On Bount, anyone that creates a request or supports a request is a backer. This could include anyone from a fan or group, to your coworkers, friends, or family.

Fulfillers

Users that complete requests and earn bounties are fulfillers. Only approved users can fulfill requests (contact [email protected] to become eligible).

Anyone that might be targeted with a request makes a great fulfiller: influencers, athletes, bands, artists, public figures, etc., but the truth is: you don’t have to be famous for a friend, colleague, or otherwise to request something of you.
